DBYLOI – A Public Health and Awareness Initiative

What you should know.

DBYLOI is an independently created programme developed for the greater social good. It is not owned or commercially influenced by any single entity; instead, it has been designed for universal adoption and for the benefit of all.

Our mission is to increase public awareness and understanding of the risks and consequences of gambling-related harm and to promote safer, more informed choices.

We aim to have DBYLOI recognised as an official Health and Public Awareness Programme—one that can be implemented across various sectors to help reduce harm and promote wellbeing.

Who DBYLOI Is For

DBYLOI can be adopted and implemented by a wide range of organisations, including:

  • Businesses and Employers
  • Public Health Departments
  • Universities and Colleges
  • The Armed Forces and Defence Services
  • Sports Clubs and Associations
  • Charities, Treatment, and Support Services

Our Ethos

By adopting DBYLOI, organisations can demonstrate their commitment to raising awareness, community safety, and social responsibility.

DBYLOI has been created from lived experience, designed specifically to protect and support individuals at risk of gambling harm. Its independence and integrity are safeguarded through strict adherence to ethical principles:

  • No collection of personal or promotional data
  • No commercial use or profit motive
  • No exploitation for marketing or business gain

The programme's values align with today’s progressive, socially conscious approach to health and well-being. It puts people first.
